Future Events
BDS members may attend BDS events organised in any area and therefore, in addition to the BDS Dorset and South Wilts Area events, do check out the events in other areas - details on their websites via the BDS main site under the Links heading, and in the National newsletter.
NB If you wish to attend an event with your turnout you must complete and return a booking form in advance of the event and by the date specified.

CHRISTMAS MEAL Menu as below, plus an additional Main course choice of Roast Beef - 21 Day Aged British Beef (served pink), roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy (GFMA 1,082kcal). The Crown requires a £5/head non-returnable deposit and therefore to book your place and arrange payment of this deposit (by cash, cheque or bank transfer) please contact Alison Trevett by Monday 28th October 2024 latest - Menu choices, by completing the Pre-Order Form below the Menu (don't forget the additional Roast Beef main option!) and returning it to Alison, together with the balance of the cost will be needed by Monday 25th November 2024 latest please. If you would prefer to do all of this and pay the full amount ahead of Monday 28th October 2024, that would be helpful, but is not necessary. Out-of-Area events
Suggestions for other activities are always welcome. Please contact the Steering Group.
Any ideas that are already on the 'wish-list' would need a suitable venue – are you able to help? If you have a suitable flat area for cones and dressage plus room for parking, and feel able to offer it for an event, the Steering Group would be delighted to hear from you.
EVENT RULES:
Remember to bring your B.D.S. membership card with you to all driving events as proof of insurance. Each turnout should carry a competent groom at all times. Juniors aged 14 and under must wear hard hats when driving and must be accompanied by an adult.
